The EVE WCW is of the week is Sarah Kingery. The owner of Brockett Farms describes herself as a foodie, and as someone who loves to be busy or working on multiple projects! Sarah also owns Chocolate Crafters and makes all the yummy chocolate treats sold in Brocket Farms. She works for Bard Date Company and has been working for the company for a little over 8 years. “I am for sure not a sit back on the couch kind of person” --says Sarah.
Entrepreneurship is in her blood. She is always thinking about projects, business ideas and action, it's what makes her feel complete.
When asked what inspires her to be an entrepreneur Sarah Shares that it’s the joy that arrives in the height of service that inspires her to keep finding ways to meet community needs through her profession. Her advice to women who are thinking about taking the entrepreneurial leap is to take small steps because calculated investments eventually add up.
Validating reminders shared by the specialty chocolate and gourmet food items owner focus on having a healthy balance of operating from a space of self- love, understanding and common sense. “Everyone won’t like your business and that's ok! When I learned to let that go, I felt a lot of stress leave my body. Also, business is always growing and in need of change. It is important to always be ready to change and adapt. Thirdly, I think people are starting to see the value in striving for happiness. It’s not just about the money. It’s about finding what gives you joy, while making a living. One of my favorite quotes is by Gary V. If you don’t know who he is look him up. You will be happy you did! ““The truth is that finding happiness in what you do every day is so imperative.” – Gary Vaynerchuk. People are underestimating happiness less everyday and striving for a personal and professional balance that isn’t void of Joy!
